They include so much, and it makes planning a wed When we first visited VWR 17 months prior to our wedding day, it was game for us. This spectacular venue offers DJ, 2 Bar tenders, a day o They also have 3 separate houses for guests to stay in overnight because the owners are concerned about drinking and driving after the wedding.

They have a grooms quarters that sleeps 16, a tree house that sleeps 16 and a honeymoon suit for the bride and groom. They were all in great condition, clean and comfy. If you go to one of their spectacular Open Houses, you can get a deal on the over night rooms.

The owners gave us a private tour of the grounds including the over night quarters, the photo ops and answered all our questions with grace. The main venue is amazing with the wooden beams, the lighted wicker balls and the rusty steel paneling on the walls.

The venue needed no decorations. We splurged on the venue and the photographer and saved on food and flowers. You will love this place. Our wedding was perfect for us in every way and that was all thanks to Vista West Ranch. Everything during the day of went so smoothly and we didn't have to worry about literally anything.

This was the only wedding venue we toured. We just knew it would be perfect from the moment we walked into the barn. Thank you for making our wedding day an absolute dream Vista West Ranch! I cannot say enough great things about this venue or the people who run it!

Joe and Stacey take such pride in their family run business and it definitely shows. It was so nice to have the venue, reception and some of the lodging all in one plac They also offer so many great things along with the venue such as DJ service, day of coordinator and bar staff. The venue also frequently host open houses at both of their locations where you can get into contact with several vendors. I would hands down recommend this venue to any bride in the Austin area! During the wedding planning process my now husband and I visited about 8 venues we found online that had some hill country flare.

Quick shout out to our DJ, Brandon Shabazz for keeping all of our guests on the dance for the entire night! If I could go back and relive this night a hundred times, I would in a heartbeat! I recently had my wedding here on March 17th, and it was amazing. Obviously the appearance of the venue is what drew me in, but then getting to experience the friendly and caring nature of the owners was icing on the cake no pun intended!

My coordinator, Brie, was wonderful! She made the whole process as stress-free as possible. One thing I really loved about the venue was the fact that I didn't have to really decorate at all. The inside of the reception hall looked wonderful without anything at all added to it! I would do it all over again if I could!! We couldn't have picked a more beautiful venue. Joe and Stacey are a great help and give you all the info you need to know during the tour. If we could change one thing, it w We were not allowed to get to the venue until 2pm, and our ceremony was at 5pm.

It was a little stressful, but they did let us start the setup process the night before during our one hour rehearsal time which was a huge help and it all worked out. Vista West Ranch provides the bartender services, DJ and day of coordinator. That was a HUGE help. Vista West Ranch stole our hearts from the absolute beginning of our venue search!

After reading the ongoing amazing reviews, it quickly made it to the top of our list of places to visit. My fiance was living 4 hours away at the time and loved Vista West was the first place we looked at and no other venues stood a chance after we toured the property! We were planning our wedding with neither of us living in the same city as the venue and still things fell into place easily. The fact that the price covers so many things really helped relieve some of the stress of planning a wedding!

The venue is absolutely stunning and has so much character without even having to decorate it. The property is so beautiful, I truly cannot say enough about the beauty and character the property has. Vista West is a venue that is a must-see. They are so accommodating to the needs of their clients and have many resources available to help ease the wedding planning process. The wedding coordinator that works with the venue and comes with the cost of the venue!

She was a huge help leading up to the wedding and was so wonderful at keeping me posted about how we were doing on time throughout the reception to make sure we were on schedule.

She went above and beyond to make the wedding run smoothly and if anything went wrong I had no idea about it which is exactly how you want it to be if you're the bride! I truly cannot say enough good things about this venue! I would say the only true downfall that I wish could have been different was only having access to the property after 2 p.

They do offer access to it earlier than that but at a higher cost, which we just couldn't add into the budget. BUT it's absolutely not something that should keep you from this venue because, like I said, the many, many, MANY other benefits that come with the venue far outweigh that one thing. It was a perfect day! We cannot say enough good things about our experience with Vista West Ranch and the team there. What made them such a joy to work with was that they were professional but also relatable--they are pretty much a family and they treated us like fa We initially discovered VWR for our wedding from an online blog we are out of state , and after touring several properties in Austin, we just fell in love with the idea of having our wedding at VWR.

Joe and Stacey, Jaime from Bar Butlers, Lori from Coordinate This, and Lindsay from Petal Pushers made it so easy for us to plan our wedding from afar, and they worked with us to ensure that we had most of our bases covered prior to our big day i. They accommodated many of our special requests we are Muslim, so some of our religious and cultural traditions made our wedding different from many of the weddings typically held there , and it was so easy to work with them.

The team at VWR was probably the most reliable group of people we worked with in preparation for our wedding, and we couldn't be more thankful about how everything went. We would highly recommend VWR to others who are considering doing a wedding there. Dec My wife was sold on VWR the minute we drove up to visit. The venue is beautiful and we got tons of compliments from guests and even those who wanted more information on the venue itself.

Inside, outside, doesn't matter. The property is spread out enough that there are tons of great spots for pictures, views of the Hill Country, and even a couple houses you can lodge at for an additional fee. Pros: 1. DJ was good enough to keep party flowing even after we ran out of alcohol 90min before it ended. Included doesn't mean cheap! Discounts on select vendors if you put deposits down at OH, and free drinks!

Cons: 1. My wife got locked out of her suite the night before the wedding. We rented all 3 lodging options onsite for 2 nights Bunk house, Tree house, Honeymoon suite , and we wanted her to stay in the suite by herself so she could have some privacy before the big day. At midnight, as she was coming back from visiting with bridesmaids, the one door to the small house was bolted shut, with all her stuff in it. We tried for over an hour to open it, even knocking on the owner's door to no avail.

It was really unfortunate, but still unacceptable. The water heater in the honeymoon suite was filled with sulfur. We turned on the water We weren't given key codes to the houses that we paid for.

This would have helped greatly in the locked out situation, and I strongly suggest this be changed for future guests that pay for the lodging changing key codes after guests leave is very easy. All in all, great experience! I don't even know where to start with talking about Vista West Ranch. I know that word gets thrown around a lot with weddings, but it's the truth. If you're looking for a venue that offers The venue is so beautiful and has so much texture due to the reclaimed wood and metal that you can save a lot on decor.

You also have so many choices for locations. We had our ceremony under the beautiful arbor, then cocktail hour in the biergarten, and our reception inside the hall. For cooler nights, they offer fire pits so even winter weddings can enjoy the outdoor space.

Joe and Stacey were great to work with, and the venue package actually comes with a day of coordinator and a DJ which is a huge help. We ended up selecting nearly all of our vendors under their recommendations as well. A few times a year Vista West offers a huge open house where they host dozens of vendors, and if you're in the early stages of planning they're great to visit. My wedding was perfect in every detail, and I can't even begin to thank Vista West for everything!

Beautiful venue! What sold us was the beirgarden and rustic theme. It's also got great package deals. It was perfect for us- rustic and romantic the owners are easy to work with and always available.

It is a beautiful venue with tons of great photo ops ranging from the reception barn to the biergarten to two old rusty vehicles that fit right in with our Texas Hill Country wedding vision. The whole VWR team was so responsive to emails, phone calls, etc. We received numerous compliments from friends and family over how unique the venue was. We opted to stay on site afterwards to continue the celebration with our closest friends and I can honestly say the whole experience will be one I will never forget.

Those are real, because we experienced it first-hand!

All our guests were amazed and had a great time, from the wedding ceremony, to the cocktail hour at the biergarten, back to the barn for the reception. Every thing was just perfect and exactly the way we wanted it. We also went with Petal Pushers a sister company for the flowers and decoration, and honestly everything was flawless!

I couldn't imagine a more perfect place to celebrate our marriage. Our day-of-coordinator was amazing and kept everything on time, and actually, ahead of schedule! We were sold on Vista West Ranch before we ever even saw it in person! This was a destination wedding of sorts, as we live in NYC and wanted to get married in Texas.

We loved the overall charm of the property. The rustic barn, the water fountain, the beer garden and even the beautiful bridal suite and groom's suite were all amazing touches. We also loved that the space inside the barn had beautiful touches of decor included and there wasn't much that needed to be added to it not an empty shell, like many venues.

We also opted to reserve the three lodges nearest the barn honeymoon cottage, treehouse and bunkhouse for the bride and groom and wedding party to stay in after the wedding. This turned out to be a great idea, as we were able to keep the party going a bit longer and end the night with our closest friends.

VWR was beyond anything we could've imaged, both the property and the staff. We couldn't be happier with our wedding day and the memories that were made there. VWR will forever be a special place to us! We are extremely happy with Vista West Ranch. The location for the ceremony and reception was absolutely gorgeous. The package they offered was a fantastic value Having all of those things included helped relieve us of having to find them, which was a huge help.

Joe is one of the nicest, most laid back guys and really makes you feel at ease. The only suggestion I'd make is to be super specific when dealing with their wedding coordinator so she knows exactly what you want and when.

Ours was a little overwhelmed, which was obvious to guests and other outside vendors who mentioned it to us. Make a list with a specific time line and make sure she has it in order to ensure that you have everything done that you want done on your day and that nothing gets overlooked like it did at ours.

The moment we walked on to the property, we knew we wanted to get married here! It was the perfect set up and extremely gorgeous, minimum decorations are required because the place is so beautiful alone! We had a few minor miscommunication issu Also, on your wedding day be prepared that a rehearsal for the wedding the next day will be going on while you are getting ready and setting up.

I loved the onsite lodging! We had so much fun with our bridesmaid, groomsmen and their dates the day before. Our wedding was on a Friday so we had the lodging for two nights and it was perfect!!! Highly recommend it!! Everything went smoothly the day of and had zero problems! Plus they provide the DJ, a wedding coordinator and the bartenders alcohol and service charges, ie - mixers, glassware, tips, etc.

Mine did, at least! And, for the vendors that don't come included with the venue, they have a recommendations list of amazing vendors, but are also not pushy about using their recommendations.

Plus the venue owner, Joe, is amazing! He is professional, but also so personable; by the end of it all you may feel so comfortable that it feels like you just had your wedding on a distant relative's property. It's probably not the cheapest for the rustic feel we wanted, but we liked the vendors and services included and we had a fairly stress free planning experience, and a They were always very responsive to e-mails, met with us as needed, and made me feel confident everything would go off without a hitch. Would definitely recommend! I was happy to throw on some jeans and throw back some beers after the wedding and not have to worry about driving back to the city.

Joe and Stacey have created a warm, welcoming, and romantic atmosphere and they were a pleasure to work with from the beginning. The price was a little more than we wanted to spe They made us feel like family and always had our best interest at heart. They wanted us to have the wedding of our dreams and made it clear they were on our side. They were never pushy or overbearing but were always there when we wanted to visit the venue or seek advice.

We loved that we could bring our own food and drinks but they pretty much provided everything else from the DJ, ice machine, tables, chairs, linens, and even an on site bunk house available for overnight stays. The best free bee of this venue is the blessings over the land that encourage storms to roll right over.

Joe told me during our initial walk through that they had a Plan B option available if it rains. However, they rarely have to move weddings indoors because this venue is in the perfect location that storms just seem to pass right over. Thank god for that! Our wedding day had high winds and black skies but I stuck to my guns and had the wedding outdoors.

Inside, we loved the decorations that were already there. It made decorating super easy because We got nothing but great comments from our guests about the venue. I felt major anxiety planning our guest wedding. My worries were completely eased after meeting Joe and touring Vista West Ranch. Vista West Ranch offers a remarkable bridal suite, a gorgeous outdoor ceremony site under live oak trees, a cocktail hour in their lovely biergarten, and a beautiful reception space. There are also accommodations for your wedding party and a honeymoon cottage at reasonable prices.

After visiting several venues, searching for a place just big enough that wouldn't require a ton of decorating - trying to avoid that "hotel ballroom" feel - we fell in love with Vista West Ranch.

The feel of the venue was right up our alley. Owner Joe was friendly, helpful, and available from start to finish. We loved that the bartenders, DJ, Coordinator, tables, chairs, linens, etc. The wedding turned out more beautiful than we could have imagined, and did not require a ton of effort to make it so. Our guests are still sending us compliments about the venue! The only downside would be that these "included" services still have the potential to tack on extra costs.

Little things added up for us, like the margarita machine is "included" but it costs to have it in use. Overall it didn't break us, just things to be aware of.
