I think that without assuming too much I can say that someone at GGW thought they could get some business off of men watching the superbowl by staging their own halftime PPV special. The selling point is that the GGW team brings a bunch of girls to some private location set up with different obstacles and "American Gladiator" type challenges and they form two teams which compete against each other.

If you want to pad your review, you point out that instead of just filming random girls in New Orleans or spring break locations, GGW is investing time and resources in an effort to bring some Playboy channel-type structure to their oeuvre : I don't think it's exactly a spoiler if I say that the girls are naked during most of the show. The DVD has an added feature in that one of the female hosts gives a topless interview while sitting at a pool with the male reporters, and she is certainly nice to look at.
